Job summary

MTM Transit in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Dispatcher to direct day-to-day route and trip operations, coordinating with drivers to ensure safe, cost-efficient, on-time service and effective communication with supervision.

You will organize routes, assist drivers with directions, monitor service quality, and log incidents. Preferred candidates have 2+ years in transportation routing or dispatch and familiarity with transit scheduling systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in transportation routing, dispatching, and scheduling preferred.
• Knowledge of GPS and GIS systems is preferred.
• Experience in supervisory roles is a plus.

Assists with organizing and conducting activities to assure safe, cost-effective, on-time operating performance, tracks and reports sign-in and sign-out times, assure routes are timely, and communicate service issues to the appropriate personnel.
