City and County of Broomfield is seeking a full-time Utilities Technician I to support the Distribution and Collections Division. The role works on water distribution, wastewater and stormwater collection, and related systems, with opportunities to learn through CDL and water distribution certification training.

The position emphasizes on-call duties, heavy physical work, and a schedule with a 4x10 workweek. A high school diploma is required, and gains in utilities experience are preferred.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Class B CDL required within 6 months of hire.
• Class 1 Water Distribution certification required within 1 year of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Assists with maintenance of the water distribution system.
• Responds to main breaks, backups, and repairs of utility systems.
• Performs preventive maintenance and routine repairs on equipment.
• Operates and maintains department construction and maintenance equipment.
• Adheres to safety and security standards and works with on-call rotation as needed.
