The City and County of Broomfield's Utilities Team is seeking a full-time Utilities Technician I to help maintain water distribution and wastewater systems. This entry-level position offers hands-on training, a 4x10 schedule, and potential on-call duties with occasional evenings and weekends.

Requires a High School Diploma/GED, Class B CDL within 6 months of hire, and Class 1 Water Distribution certification within 1 year.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with maintenance of the water distribution system and related utilities equipment.
• Responds to main breaks, backups, and repairs of utilities systems.
• Performs preventive maintenance and routine repairs on equipment.
• Operates and maintains departmental construction and maintenance equipment.
• Adheres to safety and security standards; participates in on-call duties as needed.
