CBRE is seeking a Utilities Manager to supervise a technical team delivering preventive maintenance, repairs, and operational support to account staff. You will lead staffing, coaching, and performance evaluations, while ensuring compliance with procedures and strong client relationships.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; 3–5 years of relevant experience.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring and rewarding performance.
  • Ability to communicate sensitive information and set performance expectations.
  • Strong leadership to motivate team and drive quality, efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational and analytical/math skills.

What You’llDo
  • Provide formal supervision to employees.Monitor the training and development of staff.
  • Conductperformance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of newemployees.
  • Coordinate andmanage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, andcross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor andcoach as needed.

  • Identify,troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues that may ormay not be evident in existing systems and processes.
What You’llNeed
  • Bachelor'sDegree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, acombination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Must have a validdrivers license
  • Experience inthe areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring,measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
  • Ability to guidethe exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, conveyperformance expectations and handle problems.
  • Leadershipskills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of thejob discipline and department.
  • In-depthknowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook,etc.
  • Extensiveorganizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
  • Advanced mathskills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions,and other financial related calculations.
