Job summary

Novo Nordisk in Durham, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to improve systems & equipment reliability on assigned processes, reduce downtime, and support operation of equipment.

Requires Associate's Degree in a relevant field; five years of manufacturing experience; at least three years in regulated solid dose manufacturing; proven troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills; SAP documentation and JQR promotion experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in a relevant field and thorough understanding of mechanical, electrical and control systems.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing industry.
• Minimum of three (3) years of regulated industry and solid dose manufacturing experience.
• Experience in equipment troubleshooting, preventative and predictive maintenance.
• Successful completion of Maintenance Technician II JQR and promotion board approval.

Responsibilities

• Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on assigned processes in a timely manner.
• Develop and establish maintenance procedures, plans and spare parts lists.
• Document all maintenance activities in SAP and adhere to safety requirements.
• Collaborate with process owners to improve performance and reliability of equipment.
• Train fellow technicians and assist in scaling new systems.
