Job summary

Esri is seeking a mid-to-senior Professional Services consultant to work with utilities clients on deploying ArcGIS solutions. You will partner with clients to translate business needs into GIS architectures, design workflows, and guide implementations that advance data, analytics, and geospatial capabilities across organizations.

You will collaborate with delivery teams to promote Esri technology, lead customer engagements, and drive business growth in a global context from Charlotte, NC.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing, implementing, and/or administering enterprise GIS solutions leveraging ArcGIS Enterprise (desktop, server, and online).
• Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas to technical peers or non-technical managers or customers.
• Translate a customer’s business goals into technical plans and solutions.
• Self-motivated, proactive problem solver, team-oriented and creative.
• Exceptional interpersonal, written/verbal communication, multi-tasking, and presentation skills.
• Entrepreneurial attitude and willingness to learn in a dynamic cross-functional team.
• US citizenship.
• Bachelor’s degree in geography, computer science, GIS, or related field; master's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be a thought leader advising customers on innovative Esri solutions and content to help them make better decisions.
• Understand customer business and how Esri technology can improve success; know key business processes in retail, banking/finance, insurance, and manufacturing.
• Design and certify key GIS workflows for the ArcGIS platform; provide configuration guidance and best practices; align IT objectives with Esri technology.
• Develop and grow business by supporting technology and implementation patterns with new and existing customers.
• Collaborate with practice managers, marketing, and sales to develop new business and shape future use of Esri products.
