Job summary

West Monroe is seeking Consulting Interns to join our Utilities Practice in San Francisco. Interns will work with senior consultants on strategy, technology evaluation, and business process optimization across the energy and utilities sectors.

You will gain exposure to cutting-edge technologies, contribute to major initiatives, and learn through mentorship while supporting client engagements and thought leadership.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree with a 3.0+ GPA and eligible to work in the U.S.
• Expected graduation between Dec 2027 and Jul 2028 with transcripts available.
• Willing to travel Mon-Thu up to 50% and reside within 50 miles of the assigned office.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Assist in strategy development for utility initiatives and projects.
• Analyze current-state processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Manage dependencies between parallel project workstreams.
• Support workshops, capture client requirements, and present deliverables to stakeholders.
• Help drive change management for large transformational programs.
• Collaborate with teams to apply lessons learned and industry best practices.
