West Monroe is seeking Consulting Interns to join our Utilities Practice in the Dallas area. You will support client-focused strategy, deliverables, and change management while collaborating with senior consultants.

You’ll gain exposure to AI-enabled analytics, technology evaluation, and business process optimization across energy and utilities sectors. This internship emphasizes mentorship, growth, and real‑world impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in progress with expected graduation between December 2027 and July 2028.
• You will be asked to confirm your expected graduation month and year at the offer stage and prior to beginning your internship.
• We do request and review official transcripts from your school prior to the start of our internship program.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without limitation or sponsorship now or in the future (e.g., OPT, H-1B visa, TN, etc.).
• Reside within 50 miles of your assigned office prior to your start date; our culture emphasizes team collaboration within a hybrid work model.
• Ability and willingness to travel Monday – Thursday (up to 50%); travel expenses covered by West Monroe.
• Experience integrating AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) into day-to-day workflows to enhance productivity and insight generation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in strategy development for various utility initiatives, including operational technology (OT), telecommunications assets, customer-facing software solutions, business IT systems, and renewable energy technologies.
• Analyze and document current-state processes, identifying areas for improvement and supporting process optimization efforts.
• Manage dependencies between project workstreams and parallel initiatives.
• Support project leadership in conducting workshops, capturing client requirements, and presenting key deliverables to stakeholders.
• Assist in driving change management for large transformational utility programs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to apply lessons learned from past projects and industry best practices to enhance client service.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis and synthesize complex information to support data-driven recommendations.
