Job summary

Summit Fire & Security in Utah seeks a Licensed Sprinkler Inspector with a Utah State Level II License and backflow/testing certifications. You will inspect, test, and maintain fire sprinkler systems, coordinate inspections, and provide professional service to customers and monitoring partners.

The role requires on-call readiness, safety compliance, and the ability to train inspectors while maintaining equipment and vehicle readiness. Join a nationwide fire protection leader.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience inspecting fire protection systems.
• NICET and/or state required certification preferred.
• Must be able to work alone and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, and maintain fire protection systems per NFPA codes.
• Record and report deficiencies to SFS and customers.
• Communicate professionally with customers and monitoring companies.
• Use inspection tools (detectors, backflow kit, pumps).
• Coordinate inspections and respond to on-call requests.
• Maintain company vehicle and tools in good condition.
