Job summary

KBR is seeking a USV Developmental Test Project Officer to lead developmental test and evaluation activities involving unmanned surface vessels and associated mission systems for Naval Test Wing Atlantic. The officer coordinates personnel, ranges, instrumentation, and data requirements to safely and effectively achieve test objectives.

The role emphasizes test leadership and program execution over vehicle operation. Travel may be required; U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline and relevant test or unmanned-systems experience.
• 10 years of experience.
• Experience planning, coordinating, or leading complex test and evaluation activities.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and resources for complex test events.
• Experience with USV, maritime, robotic/autonomous systems, testing, engineering, integration, or mission support.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination, execution, analysis, and reporting of developmental test activities involving USVs and robotic systems.
• Serve as primary integrator for assigned test efforts, coordinating personnel, ranges, instrumentation, and data systems.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams during test planning and execution.
• Develop and coordinate test plans, procedures, schedules, risk-management products, data requirements, and readiness activities.
• Coordinate with Government leadership and agencies to resolve technical and resource issues.
• Evaluate test results, document deficiencies and lessons learned, and support technical reports and briefings.
• Provide technical and test leadership to USV operators and test specialists.
