Job summary

KBR is seeking a UUV Developmental Test Project Officer to lead DT&E activities for unmanned underwater vehicles and related mission systems supporting Naval Test Wing Atlantic. The candidate will coordinate personnel, test articles, ranges, instrumentation, waterspace, and resources to safely accomplish test objectives.

This role emphasizes test leadership and project execution, with potential operation of UUVs when appropriate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field with test experience.
• Demonstrated experience planning and leading complex test and evaluation events.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and test resources.
• Understanding of test planning, risk management, data collection, and reporting.
• Experience with UUVs, undersea, or autonomous systems; security clearance desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead developmental test activities for UUVs and related autonomous systems.
• Serve as primary integrator for assigned test efforts and resources.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams during test planning and execution.
• Develop test plans, schedules, risk management products, and documentation.
• Coordinate with government leadership and program offices to resolve issues.
• Evaluate results, document deficiencies, and support technical reporting.
