Job summary

KBR seeks a USV Developmental Test Project Officer to lead developmental test and evaluation activities involving unmanned surface vessels and associated mission systems. You will serve as the primary integrator for test efforts, coordinating personnel, ranges, instrumentation, data requirements, and other resources to safely accomplish objectives.

The role emphasizes test leadership and program execution, guiding engineers, analysts, technicians, and range staff.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, maritime studies, aviation, mathematics, physics, computer science, or another relevant technical discipline and relevant test or unmanned-systems experience.
10 years of experience in complex test and evaluation, maritime, or unmanned-systems activities.
Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and resources for complex test or operational events.
Understanding of test planning, risk management, test execution, data collection and analysis, and technical reporting.
Experience with USV, maritime, robotic/autonomous systems, testing, engineering, integration, or mission support.

Responsibilities

Lead development and execution of developmental test activities involving USVs and autonomous systems.
Coordinate resources, ranges, instrumentation, and data systems for test campaigns.
Lead multidisciplinary teams during test planning and execution.
Develop test plans, schedules, risk management products, and technical documentation.
Provide technical leadership to operators and test specialists as the organization grows.
