Job summary

KBR is seeking a UAS Developmental Test Project Officer to lead DT&E activities for unmanned aerial systems in a Naval Test Wing Atlantic setting. This on-site role at Patuxent River, MD requires organizing test plans, resources, and multi-disciplinary teams to safely execute complex test programs.

The candidate will coordinate personnel, ranges, instrumentation, data requirements, and safety considerations, ensuring rigorous documentation and reporting. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, aviation, mathematics, physics, computer science, or other relevant technical discipline.
• 10 years of experience in test, aviation, or unmanned-systems activities.
• Experience planning, coordinating, or leading complex test events.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and resources for complex events.
• Demonstrated understanding of test planning, risk management, data collection, and technical reporting.
• Experience with UAS operations, testing, engineering, integration, or mission support.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, test planning, execution, analysis, and reporting for UAVs and autonomous systems.
• Serve as primary integrator ensuring availability of personnel, test articles, ranges, and equipment.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams during test planning and execution.
• Develop test plans, procedures, schedules, risk-management products, data requirements, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with Government leadership and range organizations to resolve issues.
• Evaluate test results, document deficiencies, and support technical reports and recommendations.
• Provide technical/test leadership and operate or support UAS operations as needed.
