Job summary

Lob seeks an experienced Program Manager to lead USPS-related operations, optimize mail production and drive cost-effective compliance. You will collaborate with logistics, operations, sales, and product teams to navigate USPS regulations and optimize promotions.

The role emphasizes data-driven insights, reporting, and cross-functional influence to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and grow Lob’s direct mail programs. Remote work options are available across multiple states.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7+ years in a USPS-related role within direct mail, logistics or manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Deep understanding of USPS rules, mail classification, and postal optimization strategies.
• Experience with USPS regulations, mail entry, and rate structures.

Responsibilities

• USPS compliance and strategy: serve as USPS liaison and SME to internal teams and USPS.
• Data analysis: monitor mail efficiency, delivery performance, and trends.
• Reporting: develop reports on mailing performance, cost efficiency and compliance.
• Lead end-to-end USPS promotions, coordinating with Product and Sales to maximize savings.
• Vendor relations: negotiate rates and optimize mailing workflows with USPS and partners.
• Industry involvement: represent Lob in MTAC and other USPS orgs to influence policy.
• Influence postage construction with Keep Us Posted to support strategic initiatives.
• Translate postal changes into actionable operational improvements.
• Drive innovation and internal training on USPS policies and best practices.
