Job summary

Legends at accesso ShoWare Center in Kent, WA seeks an Usher/Ticket Taker to welcome guests, scan tickets, and guide attendees to seats for live events. The role emphasizes safety, guest engagement, and efficient entry processes.

This part-time, non-exempt position requires strong communication, a customer-first attitude, and the ability to stand for long periods, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• On-the-job training will be provided.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and courteous in a fast-paced event environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to assist guests with a variety of needs.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a team during busy events.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and climb stairs for the duration of a shift (typically 6–8 hours).
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors, including potential exposure to varying weather conditions.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and event days as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests as they arrive and scan tickets to ensure smooth entry.
• Assist guests in finding their seats and navigating the venue.
• Provide friendly, professional service and share information about amenities.
• Respond promptly to guest situations and communicate with supervisors as needed.
• Assist guests separated from their group and reunite lost children with families.
• Maintain incident reports and lost-and-found logs as needed.
• Help create a positive, safe, and welcoming environment for every guest.
