Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation invites a reliable usher to support guests at events in Dubuque. You will help with seating, manage late seating policies, and distribute program materials to ensure smooth event operations.

Responsibilities include reading event tickets, assisting guests in wheelchairs, and promptly reporting any safety concerns or emergencies to management while maintaining excellent customer service throughout shifts.

Qualifications

  • Six (6) months of experience as an usher in a comparable venue preferred.
  • Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Must be able to stand and walk (including stairs) for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to bend and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to quickly read and interpret information printed on event tickets.
  • Must be able to assist guests in wheelchairs.
  • Must be alert at all times and be able to think and act quickly and appropriately in the event of an emergency.
