Job summary

The University of Arizona Libraries is seeking a User Experience Strategist to direct the vision, strategy, and oversight for improving user experience across all touchpoints. You will champion a user-centered, design thinking culture and support it through consultation, training, and providing resources.

You will lead the UX team (1 FTE, up to 0.75 FTE student assistants) and report to the Vice Dean, guiding organizational focus on outcomes from user research and assessment methods.

Qualifications

• Experience leading UX initiatives and strategies.
• Ability to champion user-centered design across departments.
• Experience training staff on UX methodologies and accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead the User Experience team (1 FTE, up to 0.75 FTE student assistants).
• Direct vision, strategy, and oversight for improving user experience across touchpoints.
• Consult with Libraries departments to improve services and products for users.
• Educate employees about best practices for accessibility and UX.
• Contribute to organizational and departmental prioritization and project implementation.
