Job summary

Peterson Tractor Co. is seeking a Used Equipment Sales Administrator to support the Used Equipment department at either Hillsboro, OR or San Leandro, CA. You will handle paperwork, data entry for purchases and trade-ins, and manage asset data and CATUSED postings.

Coordination with Marketing and Sales, along with occasional travel, will be part of the role. A high school diploma or GED with 3+ years in equipment sales, preferably in a heavy industrial setting, is required; DBS experience is a

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with at least 3 years of related equipment sales experience, preferably heavy industrial; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Caterpillar dealer background preferred
• Knowledge of Dealer Business System (DBS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Used Equipment department with paperwork and data entry for used equipment purchases and trade-ins.
• Complete, monitor, and track NTLs for used equipment assets and liaise with Used Equipment Department.
• Collect and upload pictures for used equipment assets into company database.
• Ensure all used equipment assets have advertised pricing and maintain price adjustments.
• Post available used equipment assets to CATUSED.com with pictures and information.
• Monitor, track, and store all paperwork/data for consignment machines.
• Maintain complete and accurate records on used equipment assets in inventory.
• Coordinate with Marketing for publications, communications, and promotions.
• Coordinate equipment hauling for used sales, transfers, and demos/loaners.
• Assist in locating specific equipment for Sales Representatives.
