Job summary

DARCARS Automotive Group is seeking a Used Car Sales Manager to lead the used car department, drive sales, and optimize profitability in Virginia. The role emphasizes developing staff, managing vendor relations, and hitting monthly quotas.

The position requires 3-5 years in automotive sales, with strong leadership, negotiation, and customer-networking abilities. Evening and weekend availability, plus a valid driver's license, are expected. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience in the automotive industry, preferably in sales and F&I.
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
• Must be at least eighteen years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must pass pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with employees and customers to bridge gaps in the sales process.
• Build rapport with customers to establish a network for referrals.
• Provide support to sales team through training and assistance with closing sales.
• Assist with inventory management for the sales department.
• Conduct trade appraisals and enter information into the vehicle management system.
• Track revenue logs and manage retail delivery reports.
• Record performance to track turn rate according to inventory turn policy.
• Partner with third party vendors and the service department to ensure repairs before inventory.
• Prepare and administer annual forecast and budget for the used car department.
• Assist with New Car Sales department as needed.
