Job summary

Grogan's Towne CJDR is seeking an energetic Used Car Sales Consultant to join our Toledo-area dealership. You will greet customers, understand their needs, and showcase pre-owned vehicles while guiding them through test drives and the sales process.

Responsibilities include following up on leads, leveraging referrals, maintaining CRM activity, and collaborating with management to maximize satisfaction and profitability.

Qualifications

• Automotive sales experience preferred but open to motivated professionals from other industries.
• Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Ability to work evenings, Saturdays, and a flexible retail schedule.
• Comfortable using CRM software and digital communication tools.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

• Build rapport by understanding each customer's wants, needs, and budget.
• Present and demonstrate pre-owned vehicles that fit the customer's lifestyle.
• Conduct professional test drives and explain vehicle features and benefits.
• Generate and follow up on internet, phone, and showroom leads daily.
• Prospect for new business through referrals, previous customers, and community networking.
• Maintain CRM activity, documenting every customer interaction.
• Follow dealership sales process from initial contact through delivery.
• Work with sales managers to maximize customer satisfaction and profitability.
• Present financing and protection product opportunities before introducing customers to Finance.
• Ensure customers are introduced to management during the sales process.
• Follow up after delivery to encourage referrals and repeat business.
• Stay knowledgeable on current inventory, pricing, and competitor offerings.
