Landmark Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram is seeking a dynamic Used Car Manager to lead our used car department. This role focuses on inventory management, pricing strategies, and delivering an exceptional customer experience across reconditioning, photography, and online merchandising.

You will supervise staff, collaborate with Sales, F&I and Service teams, and drive profitability through market-aware pricing and effective turn rates.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Used Car Manager or in a similar automotive leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the used car department, including inventory, merchandising, and pricing strategies.
• Appraise trade-ins and purchases to maximize profitability.
• Monitor used vehicle performance metrics such as turn rates and gross profit.
• Collaborate with sales to drive volume and profitability.
• Ensure vehicles are properly reconditioned, photographed, and listed online timely.
• Maintain compliance with dealership policies and laws.
• Train and develop staff to meet department goals and deliver customer experience.
• Source inventory through vendors, auctions, and wholesalers.
• Stay updated on market trends and pricing to optimize margins.
