Job summary

Findlay Volkswagen Henderson is seeking a motivated Used Car Manager with a data analytics focus to lead the pre-owned department and drive growth through data-driven insights. You will oversee appraisals, acquisitions, pricing, reconditioning, and inventory, and you will develop actionable reports and dashboards using vAuto, Drive Centric, CDK, and Excel to inform pricing and strategy.

Lead a team, partner with service, and shape marketing efforts based on market data.

Qualifications

• Data-driven decision making required.
• Strong vehicle valuation, market analytics, and inventory management skills.
• Proficient in Excel or similar tools for analyzing sales and inventory performance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, analytical environment.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the used vehicle department, including appraisals, acquisitions, pricing, reconditioning, and inventory management.
• Leverage data analytics tools to evaluate pricing trends, track sales performance, and forecast demand across multiple vehicle segments.
• Monitor market data and use insights to refine acquisition and pricing strategies for competitiveness and profitability.
• Utilize analytical platforms to develop reports and dashboards that inform business decisions.
• Manage and motivate the sales team to achieve volume, gross, and customer satisfaction goals.
• Collaborate with the service department to ensure timely reconditioning and quality control of pre-owned vehicles.
• Implement targeted marketing and digital advertising strategies informed by data analysis.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations.
• Train, mentor, and develop staff, fostering a data-informed culture.
