Diehl Hyundai of Massillon is seeking a hands-on Used Car Manager to lead inventory strategy, pricing, and acquisition across the dealership. You will align acquisition, appraisal, reconditioning, merchandising, and sales execution into one disciplined process to protect gross and maximize turnover.

The role requires a data-driven leader who can drive cross‑department collaboration and deliver measurable improvements in inventory and sales performance.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of used vehicle economics, retail and wholesale values.
• Experience with market-based pricing and reconditioning decisions.
• Proficiency with inventory and appraisal tools (e.g., vAuto).
• Data-driven leadership with strong communication and urgency.
• Ability to translate performance data into actionable plans.

Responsibilities

• Own the used vehicle inventory plan including level, age, mix, price, mileage.
• Oversee buying center operations and acquisition opportunities.
• Set market-based pricing and ensure fast, professional online merchandising.
• Oversee inventory flow from acquisition to frontline placement and reconditioning.
• Lead the used vehicle sales effort and collaborate with GM, service, marketing, and the BDC.
• Drive improvements in traffic, conversion and total-store performance.
