Findlay Volkswagen Henderson is seeking a motivated Used Car Manager with a focus on data analytics to lead the pre-owned department and drive growth through insights.

You will oversee appraisals, acquisitions, pricing strategies, and inventory management while leveraging tools like vAuto, Drive Centric, CDK, and Excel to deliver data-driven reports and dashboards for strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of data-driven decision making to hit sales and gross profit targets.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle valuation, market analytics, and inventory management tools (e.g., vAuto, Drive Centric, CDK).
• Proficiency in Excel or similar tools for analyzing sales and inventory performance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven, analytical environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the used vehicle department, including appraisals, acquisitions, pricing, reconditioning, and inventory management.
• Leverage data analytics tools to evaluate pricing trends, track sales performance, and forecast demand across vehicle segments.
• Monitor market data and use insights to refine acquisition and pricing strategies for competitiveness and profitability.
• Utilize analytical platforms (e.g., vAuto, Drive Centric, CDK, Excel) to develop actionable reports and dashboards for decisions.
• Manage and motivate the sales team to meet volume, gross, and customer satisfaction targets.
• Collaborate with the service department to ensure timely reconditioning and quality control of pre-owned vehicles.
• Implement targeted marketing and digital advertising strategies informed by data analysis of customer behavior.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations.
• Train, mentor, and develop staff to foster a data-informed culture of performance.
