Hello Auto Group is building a used-car acquisition team for our Temecula and San Diego stores and seeks an experienced leader to drive inventory growth. You will source inventory from multiple channels, coordinate transportation, and oversee reconditioning to meet our aggressive turnover targets.

With at least two years of vehicle-buying experience and familiarity with vAuto and CDK preferred, you will partner with Owners, GMs, and Sales Managers to optimize the used-car operation and help

Responsibilities

Job description

Hello Auto Group is building a used-car acquisition team for our three stores and needs someone with experience to lead it. We currently have three stores: a Subaru and Mazda Campus in Temecula and a Mazda Store in San Diego. We need additional inventory to sustain the double-digit year-over-year growth we are seeing.

We pride ourselves on being a great New car retailer, but our hearts and passion run strong in the Used car department. Our look-to-book is above 50% at all of our stores; trades are as important as sales. We structure our Sales pay plans to weigh them heavily towards used cars as they are the heart of our business. We are turning our cars quickly, and our average days in inventory are 21 days. We have room to grow, and we are looking for the right individual to help stock the lot with the right cars.

This role is a challenging and a demanding, but the right individual will find it fun and rewarding. Hello Auto Group is a privately owned, family run group, with owners actively engaged in store operations.
