Job summary

3M seeks an USAC Demand Lead to drive end-to-end Integrated Business Planning and Demand Review processes. You will coordinate monthly reviews, align forecasts with business estimates, and work with commercial teams on large tenders.

You will analyze deviations, push for forecast accuracy, and guide cross-functional teams through constraints and risk management. The role emphasizes collaboration across functions, data modelling, ERP systems and supply chain planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher completed and verified prior to start.
• Ten (10) years of combined experience in Marketing/Business Management, Supply Chain, Finance and/or Engineering in a private, public, government or military environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership and leading cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in data management, data collection, and data modelling; experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and forecasting tools.
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse, cross-cultural environment.
• Proven track record of leading projects and teams to enhance end-to-end business processes; IBP and S&OP experience desirable.
• Understanding of advanced planning concepts and their financial impact; translate into actionable strategies.
• Ability to influence others and drive change across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the PSD USAC Demand Review Process.
• Oversee end-to-end Integrated Business Planning process, maintaining ASP parameters and assumptions file.
• Coordinate monthly Demand Review meetings and align Demand Plans with Business Estimates.
• Analyze discrepancies between projections and actuals; identify opportunities to offset gaps.
• Collaborate with commercial and marketing teams to align forecasts with operational capabilities for large projects.
• Lead cross-functional teams to resolve production constraints and optimize supplier activities.
• Assess and communicate risks with large deals, MTO items, and New Product Introductions; develop scenario plans.
