Job summary
Aston Carter is seeking a Demand Planner to manage end-to-end IBP forecasting, leveraging market insights, historical trends, and promotions to drive accurate demand signals. The role collaborates with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations to optimize inventory and service levels in a fast-paced CPG environment.
Based in Sacramento, CA, the role emphasizes cross-functional planning, continuous improvement of forecasting tools, and support for strategic initiatives such as new product launches
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 3 years experience in data collection, planning, analysis, reporting, and project leadership.
- Functional knowledge of supply chain processes (e.g. Production Planning, Inventory, Deployment).
- Working knowledge of MS Office, SAP, and ERP systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop rolling forecasts within IBP to support supply and commercial decisions.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations to optimize inventory and service levels.
- Participate in monthly IBP Demand and Pre-Demand Review processes and communicate risks and opportunities.
- Support new product launches, SKU rationalization, and capacity planning initiatives.
