Position Summary

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, delivering more of what our members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets members' expectations.

What you'll do

1. Provide Member service by acknowledging the Member, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting the Company's products and services.
2. Maintain merchandise presentation by stocking, setting up, cleaning, organizing displays, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing merchandise, and securing fragile and high-shrink items.
3. Maintain the Sales Floor in Tire and Battery Center according to company policies, handling claims and returns, zoning, organizing merchandise, and managing shrink and damages.
4. Receive and stock merchandise, organize and maintain the Tire and Battery Center following company procedures, using equipment appropriately, merchandising, and completing documentation.
5. Ensure safety by following all safety standards, conducting safety sweeps, proper forklift procedures, handling hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe conditions.
6. Operate hardware such as cash registers, process purchases, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to procedures.
7. Assist Members with automotive services, including tire installation, repairing or replacing flats, balancing, rotating tires, testing, and installing batteries, following company guidelines and operating computer equipment.

The hourly wage range is $18.00 to $25.00, with potential additional premiums based on specific circumstances. The actual rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the location.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid state-issued driver's license.
• Successful completion of required trainings and assessments if hired.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the auto service industry or retail is preferred.
