Position Summary...

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, delivering more of what members love for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets members' expectations.

What you'll do...

• Provide Member service by acknowledging the Member, identifying their needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting products and services.
• Maintain merchandise presentation by stocking, setting up, cleaning, organizing displays, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing merchandise, and securing fragile and high-shrink items.
• Maintain the Sales Floor in Tire and Battery Center according to company policies by handling claims and returns, zoning, organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages.
• Receive and stock merchandise, organize and maintain the Tire and Battery Center following company procedures, using equipment properly, merchandising, and completing necessary documentation.
• Ensure safety by following all standards, conducting safety sweeps, handling hazardous materials properly, and reporting unsafe conditions.
• Operate hardware such as cash registers, process purchases, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to procedures.
• Assist members with purchasing and service decisions, complete vehicle service requests, operate equipment safely, and handle merchandise and supplies properly.
• Service Members' automobiles by driving vehicles into and out of bays, noting damages, and performing automotive services like tire installation, repairs, balancing, rotating, and battery testing and installation, while following company guidelines and operating computer equipment.
