Job description

Position Summary: As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department, delivering more of what members love, for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets members' expectations.

What you'll do...

1. Provides Member service: Acknowledges members, identifies needs, assists with purchasing decisions, locates merchandise, resolves issues, and promotes products and services.
2. Maintains merchandise presentation: Stocks merchandise, sets up, cleans, organizes displays, removes damaged goods, signs and prices merchandise, and secures fragile and high-shrink items.
3. Maintains the Sales Floor: Handles claims and returns, zones the area, arranges merchandise, and manages shrink and damages.
4. Stocks merchandise: Receives and organizes stock following company procedures, using equipment properly and completing necessary documentation.
5. Ensures safety: Conducts safety sweeps, follows forklift and hazardous material handling procedures, reports unsafe conditions.
6. Operates hardware: Uses cash registers and processes member transactions, returns, refunds, and exchanges.
7. Provides products and services: Assists with purchasing decisions, completes vehicle service requests, operates equipment safely, and maintains paperwork.
8. Maintains and services vehicles: Drives vehicles, identifies damages, performs tire services, and operates computer equipment for processing.

Additional info

The hourly wage range is $19.00 to $26.00, with actual rates meeting or exceeding minimum wage. Premiums may apply based on schedule, facility, or work performed.

Minimum Qualifications
