Position Summary...
As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
What you'll do...
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, communicate effectively, and develop interpersonal skills for providing excellent customer service. Be flexible to the needs of the business, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
- Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of various types and seasonality of meat products, equipment usage, and backroom operations. Provide meat products to members by processing meat according to specifications, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and inventory management. Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment.
- Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and increase associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality, adapting to new tools and encouraging their use.
- Be an Owner: Drive business results by ensuring operational excellence, planning for profitability, maintaining a clean and organized work area, ensuring quality standards, eliminating waste, and assisting members with purchasing decisions, packaging, labeling, and storage.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club by valuing the member experience, modeling high-quality service, executing tasks at the highest level, interacting with associates to identify and overcome roadblocks, and assisting in training.
- Compliance and Collaboration: Follow company policies, procedures, and ethics standards. Complete work assignments by collaborating with managers and colleagues, prioritizing tasks, communicating progress, and seeking continuous improvement.
