Position Summary
As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
What you'll do
- Be a Team Member: Collaborates with cross-functional teams, educates others on tools, tasks, and resources, communicates effectively, and develops interpersonal skills for providing excellent customer service. Maintains flexibility to meet business needs, tracks goods, maintains in-stock levels, and controls shrinkage.
- Be an Expert: Maintains in-depth knowledge of various meat products, equipment, and backroom operations. Provides meat products to members by processing meat according to specifications, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, sanitation, and inventory management. Operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment.
- Be a Techie: Leverages digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement. Uses handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality, encouraging others to adopt new tools.
- Be an Owner: Drives business results by ensuring operational excellence, planning for profitability, maintaining a clean work area, and ensuring quality standards. Assists members with purchasing decisions and ensures proper packaging, labeling, and storage of merchandise.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocates for the department and club by valuing the member experience, modeling high-quality service, and executing duties at the highest standards. Trains and mentors associates, recognizing contributions.
- Complies with company policies, procedures, and ethics, implementing related action plans and fostering an inclusive culture.
- Completes work assignments by prioritizing tasks, collaborating with team members, and seeking continuous improvement opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications
- 6 months’ experience working in a fresh production department.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
Optional qualifications include experience in meat processing areas.
