Position Summary

As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.

What you'll do

• Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools and resources, communicate effectively, and develop interpersonal skills for providing excellent customer service. Be flexible to the needs of the business, track goods, maintain stock levels, and control shrinkage.
• Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of various meat products, equipment, and backroom operations. Process meat according to specifications, ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards, and operate and sanitize equipment.
• Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience. Utilize handheld technology for making immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality, and encourage others to adopt these tools.
• Be an Owner: Drive business results, ensure operational excellence, plan for profitability, and maintain high standards for high-volume meat products. Manage merchandise security, assist members with purchasing decisions, and ensure proper packaging, labeling, and storage.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club by valuing the member experience and modeling high-quality service and products. Train and support associates to perform their duties effectively.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics. Implement related action plans, promote an open-door policy, and uphold these standards in all business practices.
• Complete work assignments by prioritizing tasks, collaborating with team members and partners, communicating progress, and seeking continuous improvement.
