Job Title: Senior Meat Cutter

As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.

What you'll do...

1. Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, communicate effectively, develop interpersonal skills for customer service, be flexible to business needs, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
2. Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of meat products, equipment, and backroom operations; process meat according to specifications (cutting, slicing, grinding, wrapping); ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and inventory standards; operate and sanitize equipment.
3. Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; utilize handheld technology for immediate business decisions; adapt to new tools and encourage their use.
4. Be an Owner: Drive business results, ensure operational excellence, plan for profitability, maintain a clean work area, ensure product quality, eliminate waste, secure fragile merchandise, assist members with purchasing, and ensure proper packaging and storage.
5. Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department, model high-quality service and products, interact with associates to address roadblocks, and assist in training.
6. Comply with company policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity standards; implement related action plans; use the Open Door Policy; execute business processes accordingly.
7. Complete work assignments by collaborating with managers and team members, prioritizing tasks, communicating progress, and seeking continuous improvement.
