Position Summary
As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
What you'll do
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, and communicate effectively to provide excellent customer service. Be flexible to the needs of the business, track goods, maintain stock levels, and control shrinkage.
- Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of various meat products, equipment, and backroom operations. Provide meat products to members by processing meat according to specifications, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, sanitation, and inventory management. Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment.
- Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and increase associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality.
- Be an Owner: Drive business results, ensure operational excellence, plan for profitability, and maintain a clean, organized work area. Assist members with purchasing decisions, ensure proper packaging, labeling, and storage of merchandise.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club by valuing the member experience, modeling high-quality service, and assisting in training and mentoring associates. Recognize contributions and accomplishments of team members.
- Act with Integrity: Uphold high standards of ethics and compliance, support Walmart's culture, and hold oneself and others accountable. Support Walmart’s goal of becoming a regenerative company by making a positive impact.

The hourly wage range is $19.00 to $26.00, with actual pay meeting or exceeding the minimum wage applicable to the location. Additional premiums may apply based on specific circumstances.
Minimum Qualifications
- 6 months’ experience working in a fresh production department
- Must be 18 years or older
