Position Summary

As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver more of what our members love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.

What you'll do

• Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools and resources, communicate effectively, and develop interpersonal skills for customer service. Be flexible to business needs, track goods, maintain stock levels, and control shrinkage.
• Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of meat products, equipment, and backroom operations. Process meat according to specifications, ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards, operate and sanitize equipment.
• Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales, enhance the shopping experience, and increase associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology for decision-making related to production, training, and quality, and adapt to new tools.
• Be an Owner: Drive business results through operational excellence, profitability planning, maintaining high standards, minimizing waste, securing high-shrink merchandise, assisting members, and proper packaging and storage.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club by providing high-quality service and products, training associates, and modeling best practices.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and ethics. Use the Open Door Policy and apply these standards in all business practices.
• Complete work assignments by collaborating with managers, co-workers, and partners, prioritizing tasks, communicating progress, and seeking continuous improvement.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $26.00, with actual pay meeting or exceeding the minimum wage applicable to the location. Additional premiums may apply in specific circumstances.

Minimum Qualifications

6 months of experience in a fresh production department. Must be 18 years or older. Successful completion of required training and assessments is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications
