Position Summary
As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
What you'll do
- Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, communicate effectively, develop interpersonal skills for providing customer service, be flexible to the needs of the business, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
- Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of various types and seasonality of meat products, equipment usage, and backroom operations. Provide meat products to members by processing meat according to specifications, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, sanitation, and inventory management. Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment.
- Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement. Use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality, encouraging others to adopt these tools.
- Owner: Drive business results by ensuring operational excellence, planning for profitability, maintaining a clean and organized work area, ensuring product quality, eliminating waste, securing fragile merchandise, assisting members with purchasing decisions, and ensuring proper packaging, labeling, and storage.
- Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club by valuing the member experience, modeling high-quality service and products, executing tasks at the highest quality, and mentoring others. Recognize contributions and assist in training.
- Compliance: Follow company policies, procedures, and ethics, implement action plans, and uphold the Open Door Policy.
- Work Management: Complete assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with team members and stakeholders; prioritize tasks; communicate progress; identify improvement opportunities; adapt to change and feedback.

Minimum Qualifications
- 6 months’ experience in a fresh production department.
- Must be 18 years or older.
