Position Summary
As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
What you'll do
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, communicate effectively, develop interpersonal skills, provide customer service, be flexible to business needs, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
- Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of various meat products, equipment, and backroom operations. Process meat according to specifications, ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation, and inventory management. Operate and sanitize equipment.
- Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales, improve shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology for business decisions related to production, training, and product quality. Adapt to new tools and encourage their use.
- Be an Owner: Drive business results, ensure operational excellence, plan for profitability, maintain work areas, ensure quality standards, eliminate waste, assist members with purchasing, and ensure proper packaging and storage.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club, value member experience, model high-quality service, interact with associates, understand roadblocks, and assist in training.
- Comply with Policies: Follow company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity. Implement action plans, use the Open Door Policy, and apply these in business practices.
- Complete Work Assignments: Prioritize tasks using policies and data, collaborate with managers and partners, communicate progress, and adapt to feedback and changes.
- Respect the Individual: Embrace diversity, create a supportive workplace, foster belonging, and help attract talent.

The hourly wage range is $19.00 to $26.00, with actual pay based on skills and experience. Additional premiums may apply based on specific circumstances.
Minimum Qualifications
- 6 months’ experience in a fresh production department
- Must be 18 years or older
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Meat Processing Area
