Job Summary:

Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot ink cartridge machines to ensure efficient production of high-quality pen components.

Essential Functions:

1. Machine Operation: Set up and operate ink machines to fill cartridges with precise ink levels. Monitor production parameters to maintain quality and efficiency. Perform regular adjustments to optimize machine performance. Perform other duties as assigned.
2. Quality Control: Conduct visual and gauge inspections of cartridges according to Quality Check sheets. Inspect for leaks, defects, and ensure proper ink viscosity. Complete required paperwork and report defective materials.
3. Machine Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine cleaning and lubrication. Detect and troubleshoot minor issues. Assist in major repairs and preventive maintenance. Keep records and report issues.
4. Safety & Compliance: Follow safety policies, use PPE, and keep work areas clean to prevent accidents.

Job Qualifications:

Must be able to understand written and verbal communication, possess basic mechanical skills, and have strong attention to detail. Ability to problem solve, perform basic math, work independently and in teams, and handle extended hours is required. Familiarity with quality measurement tools is preferred.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

Work in a manufacturing setting with various equipment. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and adhere to dress code: sleeves on shirts, no rips or holes, closed toe and non-slip footwear.
