DHL Global Forwarding is seeking an Ocean Route Development Manager to drive growth on US Southeast routes and Transpacific Eastbound operations from the Atlanta area. You will sponsor national accounts, shape pricing strategies, and coordinate with product, sales, and operations to capitalize on market opportunities.

You will work with trade analytics and conduct market profiling to build compelling proposals, organize regional trade events, and travel up to 20% as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in a business discipline and 4+ years of related experience.
• Strong ocean freight product and pricing knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills including conflict management and negotiation.
• 20% travel required

Aufgaben

• Grow business from new and existing customers.
• Sponsor accounts at national level to facilitate commercial escalations, pricing decisions that foster growth and improve overall customer satisfaction.
• Develop Ocean Freight product priorities/targets and the business plan for assigned routes.
• Provide monthly trade lane intel reports and develop comprehensive trade lane strategy to support our sales organization.
• Organize bi-lateral trade summits with targeted overseas countries and support in-country sales planning and execution.
• Bridge between commercial customers and Ocean Freight product and station operations to solve opportunities or problems.
