The Store Manager leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates. They tour stores and provide feedback, communicate and collaborate with all levels of staff regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. They introduce and lead change efforts, provide clear expectations and guidance, and implement business solutions while communicating objectives effectively. The manager models exceptional customer service standards by following the One Best Way (OBW) service model, manages customer service initiatives, and ensures customer needs and issues are resolved. They develop and implement action plans to address deficiencies and lead process improvements to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
The Store Manager drives financial performance by reviewing PL statements, managing budgets, forecasting, controlling expenses, and monitoring operational processes. They develop and implement strategies to mitigate shrinkage and achieve sales and profit goals. They also oversee hiring, training, mentoring, and developing associates, setting expectations, recognizing achievements, and fostering a workplace of belonging. They coordinate and support activities to meet customer and business needs, build relationships with stakeholders, and promote continuous learning and improvement.

The hourly wage range is $31.25-$38.46 plus differential, with additional performance bonuses and location-based pay zones.
2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. For firearms-selling facilities, successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training is required. Facilities selling only ammunition may require a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility. Associates must attend and complete all required training and assessments.
Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership, and experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
