What you'll do... Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates. Tour stores and provide feedback, communicate and collaborate with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. Introduce and lead company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate business objectives to teams effectively.
Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model. Manage and support customer service initiatives, such as store community outreach programs, ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are resolved successfully. Develop and implement action plans to correct deficiencies and provide process improvement leadership to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
Drive the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating P&L statements, managing budgets, forecasting, and controlling expenses. Monitor and ensure effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes. Develop and implement action plans to mitigate shrink and ensure sales and profit goals are achieved.
Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, and assigning duties. Set clear expectations, provide recognition, and promote a sense of belonging in the workplace. Recruit and develop qualified staff to meet staffing needs and support company growth.
Coordinate, complete, and oversee job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders. Support plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, set goals, build accountability, and measure progress. Identify and address improvement opportunities, demonstrate adaptability, and promote continuous learning.
Ensure compliance with company policies and support the company's mission, values, ethics, and integrity standards. Implement related action plans, support the Open Door Policy, and guide others in applying these principles in business practices.

The hourly wage range for this position is $31.25-$38.46 plus differential where applicable. Additional compensation may include performance bonuses and regional pay zones based on location.
2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. For facilities selling firearms, successful completion of a criminal background check and firearms training are required. Attendance and successful completion of all required trainings are mandatory.
Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership or a Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University. Experience supervising five or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
