The role drives financial performance by reviewing profit and loss statements, managing budgets, controlling expenses, and ensuring effective merchandise presentation. It also involves supervising and developing associates through hiring, training, mentoring, and recognizing staff. Building relationships with stakeholders, supporting plans to meet customer and business needs, and promoting a culture of belonging and continuous learning are key. Ensuring compliance with policies, supporting Walmart’s mission and values, and acting with integrity are fundamental. Minimum Qualifications...

2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. For firearm-selling facilities, successful completion of a firearms-specific background check and training is required. Additional training and assessments will be necessary for associates.

Preferred Qualifications...

Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, and experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
