Position Summary...
Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, actively listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback. Communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. Introduces and leads company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and effectively communicate business objectives to teams.
Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model, managing and supporting customer service initiatives, and ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved. Develops and implements action plans to correct deficiencies and leads process improvements to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating Profit & Loss statements, managing budgets, forecasting, controlling expenses, and monitoring operational processes. Develops and implements action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals.
Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting expectations, recognizing contributions, and fostering a workplace of belonging. Recruits and develops qualified staff to meet staffing needs and support company growth.
Coordinates and oversees job-related activities by developing relationships with stakeholders, supporting plans to meet customer and business needs, and promoting accountability and continuous learning. Ensures compliance with company policies, supports ethical standards, and applies the Open Door Policy.
Builds high-performing teams by embracing diversity, creating an inclusive environment, and fostering a culture of belonging. Works collaboratively, builds trust, communicates effectively, and attracts, retains, and develops talent.

Live Better U provides education benefits covering high school to bachelor’s degrees, fully paid by Walmart, with eligibility requirements based on employment status.
The hourly wage range for this position is $31.25 - $38.46, plus differential where applicable, with additional bonuses and compensation based on location and performance.
2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. For firearm-selling facilities, successful completion of a firearms-specific CBC and training are required. Associates must complete all job-required trainings and assessments.
Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, Certificate in People and Business Leadership, and experience supervising 5 or more direct reports including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
