Job description

Position Summary...

What you'll do...
  1. Lead and develop teams by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback.
  2. Communicate and collaborate with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction.
  3. Introduce and lead company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate business objectives effectively.
  4. Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards by following and exemplifying the One Best Way (OBW) service model.
  5. Manage and support customer service initiatives, including store community outreach programs, ensuring customer needs and complaints are addressed and resolved.
  6. Develop and implement action plans to correct deficiencies and lead process improvements to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
  7. Drive financial performance and sales by reviewing P&L statements, managing budgets, forecasting, controlling expenses, and monitoring inventory and operational processes.
  8. Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates through hiring, training, mentoring, and recognizing performance.
  9. Coordinate and oversee activities by building relationships with stakeholders, supporting plans, and tracking progress towards goals.
  10. Ensure compliance with company policies, support company values, and promote an ethical workplace through action plans and leadership.
  11. Build high-performing teams by embracing diversity, creating a culture of belonging, and fostering opportunities for all associates to thrive.
  12. Act with integrity by maintaining high standards of ethics, modeling company values, and supporting a culture of accountability and transparency.
  13. Serve customers by delivering results, making data-driven decisions, and balancing short and long-term priorities.

Minimum Qualifications...

2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. For firearm-related facilities, successful completion of background checks and training is required. Associates must attend and complete all job-related training.

Preferred Qualifications...

Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership or related certificates through Live Better U and Bellevue University. Experience supervising five or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
