Walmart is seeking a Store Manager to lead and develop teams while providing exceptional customer service and driving financial performance. This position involves managing daily operations, staffing needs, and ensuring compliance with company standards. Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback. Communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. Introduces and leads company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate business objectives to teams effectively. Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model. Manages and supports customer service initiatives, including store community outreach programs, ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved. Develops and implements action plans to correct deficiencies and provides process improvement leadership to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating P&L statements, managing budgets, forecasting, and controlling expenses. Monitors and ensures effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes. Develops and implements action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals.
Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, and assigning duties. Sets clear expectations, provides recognition, and promotes a sense of belonging in the workplace. Recruits and develops qualified associates to meet staffing needs and support company growth.
Coordinates and oversees job-related activities by developing relationships with key stakeholders and supporting plans to meet customer and business needs. Identifies and communicates goals, builds accountability, measures progress, and promotes continuous learning and improvement.
Ensures compliance with company policies and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans and supporting the Open Door Policy. Builds high-performing teams by embracing diversity, creating a supportive workplace, and fostering a culture of belonging. Works collaboratively, builds trust, and communicates effectively to motivate and influence others.

Walmart offers competitive pay, performance bonuses, and comprehensive benefits, including health coverage, 401(k), stock options, paid time off, and other perks. The position's hourly wage range is $31.25-$38.46 plus differential, with additional compensation based on performance and location.
Two years of college; OR one year of retail experience and one year of supervisory experience; OR two years of general work experience and one year of supervisory experience. For facilities selling firearms, successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training is required. For facilities selling only ammunition with state-specific requirements, a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required. Associates must attend and complete all required trainings and assessments, such as Academy and Open Door trainings.
Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, or Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through the same programs. Experience supervising five or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
