Position Summary...

The role involves leading and developing teams by teaching, training, actively listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback. It includes communicating and collaborating with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. The position also requires introducing and leading change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions, and effectively communicating business objectives to teams.

The candidate must model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards, support customer service initiatives, and ensure customer needs, complaints, and issues are resolved successfully. Developing and implementing action plans to address deficiencies and leading process improvements to ensure a high-quality customer experience are essential.

Driving financial performance and sales by reviewing PL statements, managing budgets, forecasting, controlling expenses, monitoring inventory flow, and developing action plans to mitigate shrink and meet sales and profit goals are key responsibilities.

The role includes supervising and developing hourly associates through hiring, training, mentoring, and assigning duties. It also involves setting clear expectations, providing recognition, ensuring diversity and inclusion, recruiting, and developing qualified staff to meet growth potential.

Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, supporting plans to meet customer and business needs, setting goals, building accountability, and promoting continuous learning are critical components of this role.

Ensuring compliance with policies and supporting company values and standards of ethics and integrity is required. This includes implementing related action plans, utilizing the Open Door Policy, and applying these principles in business practices.

The hourly wage range for this position is $31.25-$38.46, plus differential where applicable, with additional performance bonuses and potential regional pay zones based on location.

Minimum Qualifications...

Candidates must have 2 years of college, or 1 year of retail experience plus 1 year of supervisory experience, or 2 years of general work experience plus 1 year of supervisory experience. For firearm-selling facilities, successful completion of a firearms-specific CBC and training is required. Additional training and assessments will be necessary for associates.

Preferred Qualifications...

Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, a Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership, and experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
