Position Summary...
What you'll do...

Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback. Communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. Introduces and leads company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate business objectives to teams effectively. Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model. Manages and supports customer service initiatives, including store community and outreach programs, ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are resolved successfully. Develops and implements action plans to correct deficiencies and leads process improvements to ensure a high-quality customer experience.

Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating P&L statements, managing budgets, forecasting, and controlling expenses. Monitors and ensures effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes. Develops and implements action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals.

Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting clear expectations, recognizing achievements, and ensuring diversity and inclusion. Recruits and develops qualified associates to meet staffing needs and support company growth.

Coordinates and manages job-related activities by developing relationships with stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives, setting goals, building accountability, and measuring progress. Identifies opportunities for improvement, demonstrates adaptability, and promotes continuous learning.

Ensures compliance with company policies and supports the company's mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans, supporting the Open Door Policy, and guiding on business practices.

Builds high-performing teams by embracing diversity, creating a workplace of belonging, and fostering an environment where associates feel supported and valued. Works collaboratively, builds trusting relationships, and communicates effectively to motivate and influence others.

The hourly wage range for this position is $31.25-$38.46 plus differential, with additional bonuses and potential regional pay based on location.

Minimum Qualifications...

2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. For firearm-selling facilities, successful completion of a firearms-specific CBC and training is required. Associates must complete all required trainings and assessments, such as Academy and Open Door trainings.

Preferred Qualifications...

Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership, and experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
