Job summary

UKi is building OpenDash 360, a next‑gen training and workforce readiness platform for federal and commercial customers. We seek a Senior Full Stack Engineer to own features from UI to data model to deployment, shaping API contracts and data standards across Angular, React, Express, Postgres, and Kubernetes.

You’ll work with senior colleagues to set architecture, tooling, and deployment practices while delivering data-dense dashboards and adaptive learning workflows that close readiness gaps for

Qualifications

• 7+ years building and operating production web applications in a senior or lead role.
• Full stack depth: debugging queries, restructuring services, and rendering issues across UI, API, and data models.
• Strong Node.js and Express experience: routing, middleware, authentication/authorization, versioning, error handling, testing.
• Deep Angular expertise: standalone components, signals/RxJS state, DI, routing, lazy loading, performance in large apps.
• React experience: hooks, modern rendering patterns, cross-framework fluency.
• Production PostgreSQL: schema design, migrations, queries, indexing, transactions.

Responsibilities

• Build features end to end across UI, API, data model, and deployment; own the vertical slice from start to production.
• Design and evolve the API layer with clear data contracts, error handling, and typed interfaces shared with frontend.
• Own the data model: Postgres schemas, migrations, indexing, and performance tuning as data volumes grow.
• Deliver data-dense interfaces: readiness dashboards, competency visuals, adaptive learning paths, assessment flows.
• Set stack-wide standards: module boundaries, state management, testing strategy, observability, and code review norms.
• Engineer for performance: latency/throughput, query efficiency, render performance, bundle size, and browser load behavior.
• Ship continuously in GitOps/CI-CD pipelines with ArgoCD-driven Kubernetes deployment; small batches, fast feedback, automated tests.
• Collaborate with product/design/platform teams to translate ambiguous requirements into shipped software; mentor teammates.
