Job summary

UKi is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to build the platform behind National Cyber Readiness. You will work across the stack—Angular/React front-ends, Express API, Postgres data model, and Kubernetes deployment—setting standards and delivering end-to-end features for federal and commercial customers.

You will own architecture decisions, drive performance, and ship in a modern GitOps workflow. We value strong communication, mentorship, and the ability to operate in a fast‑growing team.

Qualifications

• 7+ years building and operating production web applications.
• Full stack depth: UI, API, and data model across stack.
• Strong Node.js and Express experience.
• Deep Angular expertise: standalone components, signals or RxJS, DI, routing, lazy loading.
• React experience preferred: hooks and modern rendering patterns.
• Production PostgreSQL experience: schema design, migrations, indexing.
• Cloud native delivery: Kubernetes deployments and config, health checks, scaling.
• GitOps/CI-CD: ArgoCD or Flux, Helm/Kustomize.
• Architecture decisions and tradeoffs in service boundaries and data modeling.
• Testing: unit, integration, end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Build features end to end from requirements to production across the full stack: UI, API, data model, and deployment.
• Design and evolve the API layer with well‑structured data contracts and typed interfaces.
• Own the Postgres data model: schemas, migrations, and indexing decisions as data grows.
• Deliver rich, data‑dense interfaces and dashboards for readiness and analytics.
• Set standards across the stack for maintainability: module boundaries, state management, testing, and observability.
• Engineer for performance: latency, query efficiency, and front-end render performance.
• Ship continuously within GitOps/CI‑CD pipelines to Kubernetes with ArgoCD.
• Collaborate with product/design/customer teams and mentor engineers.
